How to improve the speed of the gallery:

(Settings can be found under Menu -> Preferences -> Performance)

• Enable "Use embedded exif thumbnails"
• Disable "Rotate thumbnails"
• Disable "Raw-Decode thumbnails"
• Disable "Render XMP Settings" (Preferences -> Displaying)
